Bei dem Gebläse besteht das mit Leitkanaälen für das zu fördernde Medium versehene Gehäuse aus einem Gehäuseblock aus schallschluckendem Werkstoff, wie einem porösem Kunststoff einer vorbestimmten Härte, und aus zwei den Gehäuseblock zwischen sich aufnehmenden stirnseitigen Abdeckplatten, von denen wenigstens eine ebenfalls aus schallschluckendem Werkstoff bestehen kann.
