[origin: US4544015A] A continuous casting plant includes supporting elements following a through-type mould and including the strand guideways. The elements are arranged within a cooling chamber and are fastened to a supporting structure so as to be adjustable relative to the through-type mould and relative to one another in the direction transversely to the longitudinal axis of the strand guideways. In order to be able to carry out an aligned adjustment between the mould and the supporting elements in a simple manner, with little work to carry out and even with the plant in operation, wherein the entry of the cooling chamber is avoided, at least one of the supporting elements is coupled with an adjustment means. This adjustment means is fastened to a supporting structure, directed outwardly from the cooling chamber and actuatable from outside of the cooling chamber.

Bei einer Stranggießanlage sind einer Durchlaufkokille (1) Stützelemente (9, 10) nachgeordnet, die Strangführungsbahnen (14, 15) aufweisen, wobei die Stützelemente (9, 10) innerhalb einer Kühlkammer (23, 24) angeordnet sind und gegenüber der Durchlaufkokille (1) und gegeneinander in Richtung quer zur Längsachse (18) der Strangführungsbahnen (14, 15) einstellbar an einem Stützgerüst (12, 38) befestigt sind. Um eine fluchtende Einstellung zwischen der Durchlaufkokille (1) und dem Stützelement (9) in einfacher Weise und mit geringem Arbeitsaufwand und selbst bei in Betrieb befindlicher Anlage bewerkstelligen zu können, wobei ein Betreten der Kühlkammer (23, 24) vermieden wird, ist mindestens eines der Stützelemente (9) zur Verstellung quer zur Längsachse (18) der Strangführungsbahnen (14, 15) mit einer an einem Stützgerust (12, 38) befestigten, von der Kühlkammer (23, 24) nach außen gerichteten und von der Außenseite der Kühlkammer her betätigbaren Stelleinrichtung (19), wie einem Gewindebolzen (22), Zahnstange etc., gekoppelt.
