[origin: EP0084103A2] To keep the wing of a window, door or the like in the tilted position in a manner such that it cannot be lifted out and is resistant to vibration at the lower end, the securing projection 5 of the securing device for the wing in the tilted position bears, at least with its lateral cheek (18) pointing away from the frame plane and therefore normally pointing into the room, against a supporting face (16) of a tilt-and-close plate (1) mounted in the region of the lower wing end on a fixed frame or the like. This can be a support in the lower wing region which is direct or which is indirect with the use of an interposed intermediate member (20). The securing device is formed by the securing projection (5), preferably bevelled at the top (23), and a securing nose (10) of the tilt-and-close plate (1), under or behind which the securing projection (5) engages in the tilted position of the wing. <IMAGE>
