Abstract (en)
1. Shuttleless weaving-machine, with a weft-carrying device, in which the warp threads (2) unwinding from the beam (4) pass over a rear thread support (6), then through the eyes (8, 8') of the heddles supported by several frames C1 , C2 , etc., then through the teeth of the reed (10) before finally reaching the line (14) where the fabric is formed (16), the said machine being characterised : in that the first frame C1 nearest the reed is placed at a distance a from the line (14) and at a distance b from the rear thread support (6) such that the distance a is not greater than 75 mm, and the ratio b/a is between 12 and 15 ; and in that the thickness of the frames C1 , C2 , etc. is not greater than 7 mm.

Machine à tisser sans navette, à dispositif passe-trame, notamment à aiguilles rigides. La distance a entre le premier cadre à lisses C1, et la distance b entre ce premier cadre C1 et le porte-fil arrière 6, sont telles que la distance a est égale ou inférieure à 75 mm, et que le rapport <b>/a est compris entre 12 et 15, l'épaisseur des cadres C1, C2 .... étant égale ou inférieure à 7 mm. L'invention permet de faire fonctionner la machine à une cadence beaucoup plus élevée que les machines classiques.
