[origin: ES8308739A1] A process and apparatus for the control of the path of the grinding tool of an all-around edge grinding machine supporting a glass pane for movement about a rotational axis. The grinding tool is positively guided into contact with the edge of the glass pane as controlled by the contour of the glass pane. A scanning roller, also guided into contact with the edge of the glass panel provides the control heretofore described. Both the grinding head and scanning roller are movable in a direction toward the rotational axis of the glass pane. Path signals determined by the scanning roller are stored in a sliding register, and delayed at its output for a period of time required for movement of the glass pane through an angle which corresponds to the rotational angle ( alpha , beta ) between the point of contact of the scanning roller and the point of contact of the grinding tool on the edge of the glass pane. The path signals from the sliding register are used in position controlling the grinding tool. The scanning roller and the grinding tool each may be disposed on a sled for movement in directions colinear with a radius from the axis of rotation of the glass pane. The scanning roller and the grinding tool each may be disposed at the end of a rocker arm for movement along a circular path.

La présente invention concerne le pilotage d'une machine de travail des bords d'une feuille de verre. Dans une machine dans laquelle la feuille de verre est porteé par un plateau tournant et dans laquelle l'outil de travail est assujetti à rester en contact avec les bords de la feuille de verre, l'invention propose de prélever des indications concernant la position que devra prendre l'outil de travail, à l'aide d'un organe palpeur en avant de l'outil de travail décalé d'un angle fixe, ces indications étant entrées dans un registre à décalage et utilisées après un décalage dans le temps correspondant au temps mis par le support tournant pour tourner de l'angle dont sont décalés l'organe palpeur et l'outil de travail, pour alimenter le moteur commandant la mise en position de l'outil de travail. L'invention est applicable au pilotage d'une machine de meulage ou de dépôt des bandes conductrices ou décoratives.
