1. Additional glazing for windows, with a frame (32) which borders an additional glass pane (30) and the legs of which each comprise an attachment batten (36), firmly attached to the casement (18) of the window, and a profile batten (38) bordering the edge of the glass pane (30), the said battens being lockable with one another and being connected to one another in a hinge-like manner along one leg of the frame by means of a strip (66) of flexible material, characterised in that the strip (66) is provided on all the legs of the frame (32) and in each case connects the attachment batten (36) to a clamping batten (52) which can be clamped to the profile strip (38).

Bei einer Zusatzverglasung für Fenster, die eine Glasscheibe (30) und einen Rahmen (32) umfaßt, der an einer Seite über ein Scharnier an einen Flügelrahmen des Fensters angelenkt ist, ist der Rahmen (32) durch fest auf dem Flügelrahmen anzubringende Aufschlagleisten (36) und die Glasscheibe (30) einfassende Profilleisten (38) gebildet. Das Scharnier ist durch ein flexibles Scharnierband (66) gebildet, das an einer Seite des Rahmens die Vorschlagleiste (36) mit der Profilleiste (38) verbindet. Das Scharnierband (66) ist durchgehend längs eines äußeren Randes des Rahmens (32) angeordnet, so daß es das Aussehen der Zusatzverglasung nicht beeinträchtigt.
