Furniture for sitting and sleeping with multiple cushions that can alternatively be utilized as furniture for sitting or as a sleeping couch, whereby the seating cushion is attached at the upper back edge with the lower back edge of the backrest cushion by means of a hinge-like device, whereby the backrest cushion (5) is reduced in length by the seating depth and whereby a retractable pull-out frame (3) rests on a supporting frame that functions as a bedding box (1) and which can be pulled out in the front and is supported in the extended position, characterized in that a flip-over back frame (4) stands behind the backrest cushion (5) that is attached by means of folding hinges (41) which are connected to the side frame (12) of the bedding box (1) and, which can, when in the lying down position, be flipped over onto the latter, whereby the flip-over back frame (4) is so high that in the lying down position the affixed upholstery (40) along with the retractable pull-out frame (3) and the attached seating cushions (30) make for the sleeping surface.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sitz-Liege-Möbel mit mehreren Polsterteilen, die wahlweise als Sitzmöbel order als Liege verwendbar sind. Das Sitzpolster (30) ist mit einem Rückenpolster (5) lösbar verbunden. Ein Auszugsrahmen (3) ist auf einem als Bettkasten (1) dienenden unteren Rahmen nach vorn ausziehbar und in der ausgezogenen Stellung abgestützt. Hinter dem Rückenpolster (5) in der Sitzstellung steht ein Rückenklapprahmen (4), der über Klappscharniere (41) mit den Seitenrahmen (12) des Bettkastens (1) verbunden und in der Liegestellung auf letzteren klappbar ist. Der Rückenklapprahmen ist so hoch, daß die auf ihm angeordnete Polsterung (40) in der Liegestellung zusammen mit dem auf dem Auszugsrahmen (3) angebrachten Sitzpolster (30) die Liegefläche ergibt. Mit dieser Ausbildung wird eine optimal ausnutzbare Liegebreite erreicht.
