Abstract (en)
The device consists of a frame (1), which can be moved on wheels, having a circular saw blade or similar cutting wheel (20) which can be driven in a rotating manner, which wheel is arranged on the leading end of the frame (1) and is supported on this frame (1) so as to be pivotable about a shaft (16) running perpendicular to its cutting plane. In order to be able to form joints or cuts which are inclined obliquely or transversely to the direction of travel, the pivoting shaft (16) of the cutting wheel (20) on the frame side is supported on the frame (1) so as to be adjustable between a position running parallel to the axis of rotation (2a) of the frame wheels and a position inclined by an acute angle relative to said position. The arrangement of the cutting wheel (20) on the frame (1) is such that the rotation moments (Mq, Mv) acting on the device in a horizontal plane during the cutting operation of the device with oblique cutting wheel (20) are directed counter to one another. As a result, the device possesses above all, even during the oblique cutting operation, good directional stability and high working accuracy. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Vorrichtung zum Herstellen von Fugen in Straßendecken u.dgl. Bodenbefestigungen besteht aus einem auf Rädern verfahrbaren Gestell (1) mit kreisförmigem Sägeblatt od. dgl. umlaufend antreibbarer Schneidscheibe (20), die am vorauslaufenden Ende des Vorrichtungsgestells (1) angeordnet und um eine senkrecht zu ihrer Schneidebene verlaufende Achse (16) schwenkbar am Vorrichtungsgestell (1) abgestützt ist. Um auch schräge bzw. quer zur Fahrtrichtung geneigte Fugen bzw. Einschnitte herstellen zu können, ist die gestellseitige Schwenkachse (16) der Schneidscheibe (20) zwischen einer parallel zur Drehachse (2a) der Gestellräder verlaufenden Stellung und einer gegenüber dieser um einen spitzen Winkel geneigten Stellung verstellbar am Vorrichtungsgestell (1) abgestützt. Die Anordnung der Schneidscheibe (20) am Vorrichtungsgestell (1) ist dabei in der Weise getroffen, daß die im Schneidbetrieb der Vorrichtung mit schrägstehender Schneidscheibe (20) auf die Vorrichtung in einer horizontalen Ebene einwirkenden Drehmomente (Mq, Mv) einander entgegengerichtet sind. Hierdurch besitzt die Vorrichtung vor allem auch im Schrägschneidbetrieb eine gute Richtungsstabilität und hohe Arbeitsgenauigkeit.
