A lock control comprising, in a cylindrical fixed body (1), a push-button (6) controlling the axial displacement of a radial blade (22) actuating an opening element (24), a lock barrel (18) which turns in the push-button (6) while being axially connected thereto and which carries the blade (22) and causes it to pivot between a locking position in which it is spaced away from the opening element (24) and an unlocking position in which it is in facing relation to said element, and means for driving the push-button (6) in translation in the body (1) when the barrel (18) is rotated, characterised in that it comprises a tubular end member (26) which is fixed to the end of the barrel (18) carrying the blade (22) and has a lateral wall which is partly notched and constitutes a helical ramp (28) leading to the end edge (30) of the end member remote from the blade, and, provided on the fixed body (1), a portion of a cylinder (36) which projects and has a contour complementary to that of the notch of the end member and forms a helical ramp (38) cooperable whith that of the barrel for the purpose of axially displacing the push-button (6) in the fixed body (1) when the barrel is rotated.
