Double-pole push switch with electronical control device for installation into hand-operated electrical apparatus for household, trade and industry, the actuation device (4) of which, lockable by push button, brings about the on and off switching operation and which serves at the same time for the determination of power input of the electrical apparatus for an alteration, dependable on motion, of a regulation potentiometer in the control circuit of the electronical circuit arrangement, where the regulating distance of the actuation device (4) can be changed on the very same by a mechanical limit stop, characterized in that the control potentiometer is subdivided into a preselecting potentiometer (11), designed as a miniature graphite potentiometer for the selection of a determined range of power and into a control potentiometer (12) designed as a miniature graphite potentiometer for the regulation of the selected range, which are located in a hollow space in the outside part of the handle of the actuation device (4) of the push switch (6-9) and in there they are protected by overall jacketing as well as insulating measures for their control elements and conductors against the access of dust, foreign particles and humidity.
