1. Combustion controller for heating boilers (10) charged with solid fuels at which a temperature sensor (12) is sensing the boiler temperature and by means of a control element (13) and via a chain (14) acts upon a supply air flap (11) in order to control its opening position as a function of the boiler temperature and at which a device is provided to permit the closing of the supply air flap (11) when exceeding its maximum opening position during the control operation, characterized in that the device permitting the closing of the air supply flap comprises two levers (50, 51) from which one is hinged at the air supply flap (11) and the other is hinged at the heating boiler (10) with the free ends of said levers being pivotally connected together with the fulcrum at one hand being connected to the chain (14) and at the other hand being connected to a return spring (52).

Bei einem Feuerungsregler für mit festen Brennstoffen befeuerbare Heizungskessel (10) erfaßt ein thermostatischer Temperaturfühler (12) die Kesseltemperatur und steuert über eine Kette (14) den Öffnungsgrad einer Zuluftklappe (11) in der Weise, daß eine eingestellte Solltemperatur annähernd eingehalten wird. In der Ausbrandphase, d.h. bei fehlenden Brennstoffen, wird die Auskühlung des Heizungskessels (10) verlangsamt, in dem die Zuluftklappe (11) ganz oder auf einem minimalen Öffnungsspalt geschlossen wird. Dies kann auf verschiedene Weise geschehen. Einmal kann zwischen Zuluftklappe (11) und Heizungskessel (10) ein Anschlag (15) in der maximalen Öffnungsstellung der Zuluftklappe (11) vorgesehen sein und ein auf ein erhöhtes Moment ansprechendes Kettenschloß (16) in der Kette (14) kann eine Verlängerung der Kette (14) freigeben. Sodann kann die Kette (14) einen an dem Heizungskessel (10) befestigen Schlepphebel (40) anheben, auf dem sich die Zuluftklappe (11) mit einem Anschlagstift (26) abstützt, wobei diese Abstützung in einer bestimmten Öffnungsstellung der Zuluftklappe (11) entfällt. Schließlich kann zwischen Heizungskessel (10) und Zuluftklappe (11) ein Hebelgetriebe (50, 51) angeordnet sein, das von der Kette (14) angetrieben wird und Zunächst eine allmähliche Öffnung und anschließend eine allmähliche Schließung der Zuluftklappe (11) gestattet.
