Abstract (en)
[origin: WO8300677A1] The package made of a particularly flexible plane material, comprises a gas-tight envelope and a tearing strip delimited by scored lines or weakened areas (3, 13, 23) wherein the package material is connected to a cover element (5, 15, 25) of preferably plane material. The top surface (6, 16, 26) of the cover element (5, 15, 25), connected in a plane relationship with the package material, has a closed periphery (7, 17, 27) which surrounds completely the scored lines (3, 13, 23) without touching them. Upon pulling the cover element (5, 15, 25) forming the beginning of the tearing strip, the package material is torn from both ends of the scored lines or weakened areas (3, 13, 23) and along the lines delimiting a tearing area (4, 14, 24). Additional weakened lines (2, 12) may be provided at the locations where the package material is intended to be torn. Package materials with two layers without weakened areas (2, 12) but with a reproducible tearing, are preferably comprised with an inner support layer and with a gas-tight outer layer having most often a reduced thickness.
