[origin: US4967444A] A double-winged door spring is biased for closing with a mechanism for damping of the closure movement and includes a closure sequence control, particularly of a fire-resistant door, in which the damping of the movable door portion is accomplished through a hydraulic damping element with throttled overflow. The hydraulic damping element includes two oppositely controlled pressure chambers defined by a double-acting piston and a valve disposed in the overflow conduit connecting the two pressure chambers, the valve being actuated directly or indirectly through the stationary door portion. By the valve being disposed in the overflow conduit, actuation of the movable door portion can be inhibited until the stationary door portion is closed.

Bei einer Schliesseinrichtung, insbesondere einer feuerhemmenden Tür, bei welcher die Dämpfung des Gehflügels über ein hydraulisches Dämpfungselement mit einer gedrosselten Überströmung zweier durch einen doppelt wirkenden Kolben (4) gegenläufig gesteuerter Druckräume (11, 12) erfolgt, ist zur Schließfolgeregelung in der Überströmleitung (2) von dem einen (11) zum anderen (12) Druckraum ein über den Standflügel direkt oder indirekt betägbares Ventil (3) angeordnet. Dabei wird das an sich bekannte ohnehin vorhandene Dämpfungselement, beispielsweise ein automatischer Türschließer, des Gehflügels für die notwendige Schließfolgeregelung genutzt. Durch das in der Überströmleitung eingesetzte Ventil (3) kann in einfacher Weise die Betätigung des Gehflügels so lange gesperrt werden, bis der Standflügel geschlossen ist. Auf diese Weise wird sichergestellt, daß der Gehflügel nicht vor dem Standflügel geschlossen werden kann.
