1. A cash box having a money tray which is disposed in the top area of the bottom part of the cash box, which is closed by a lid, the money tray being formed as a loosely supported intermediate tier, characterized in that the money tray (13) is supported by engaging over the top edge (10) of the bottom part (1) of the cash box in such manner that the bottom edge (7') of the lid strikes against the top of the money tray (13).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Geldkassette mit im oberen Bereich des deckelverschlossenen Kassettenunterteils (1) angeordnetem Zähleinsatz (13), welcher lose aufliegend in Art einer Zwischenetage ausgebildet ist, und schlägt zur Erzielung einer herstellungstechnisch einfachen, gebrauchsvorteilhaften Bauform vor, daß der Zähleinsatz (13) durch Übergriff der oberen Randkante (10) des Kassettenunterteils (1) getragen ist. Besondere Stützleisten können für den Zähleinsatz so entfallen. Auch der Nutzraum ist größer.
