The parallelepipedal inorganic composite brick consists of a calcium silicate hydrate brick (1) which may contain air-filled channels and has an apparent density of 0.6 to 2 kg/dm<3>, combined with an inorganic insulant with an apparent density of 0.05 to 0.3 kg/dm<3>. It can be manufactured, for example, by filling the cavity (2) of a lime-sand brick blank with an expandable inorganic insulant precursor, which is expanded and subsequently the two are cured with superheated steam. Instead of the expandable insulant precursor, an already expanded insulant precursor of low density or a precured inorganic insulant may also be employed. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Ein quaderförmiger anorganischer Verbundstein besteht aus einem Kalziumsilikathydratstein (1), der gegebenenfalls noch mit Luft gefüllte Kanäle aufweisen kann und eine Rohdichte von 0,6 bis 2 kg/dm³ aufweist, im Verbund mit einem anorganischen Dämmstoff der Rohdichte 0,05 bis 0,3 kg/dm³. Er läßt sich z.B. dadurch herstellen, daß man in den Hohlraum (2) eines Kalksandstein-Rohlings eine expandierfähige anorganische Dämmstoff-Vorstufe einfüllt, die man expandieren läßt und man anschließend beide mit überhitztem Wasserdampf aushärtet. Statt der expandierfähigen Dämmstoff-Vorstufe kann auch eine bereits expandierte Dämmstoff-Vorstufe niedriger Dichte oder ein fertig ausgehärteter anorganischer Dämmstoff eingesetzt werden.
