Nozzle (10) for sanitary showers having an approximately cylindrical nozzle channel (11) for producing a jet of water for massage purposes, characterised in that in the downstream end region of the nozzle channel (11) there are constructed deflection ribs (12) formed by a construction and separated from one another in the manner of segments by radial slots (13) arranged approximately in the shape of a star in the outer end face of the nozzle (10), the deflection ribs (12) projecting radially into the nozzle channel (11).

Bei einer Sanitärbrause ist zur Erzeugung eines kräftigen Wasserstrahls für Massagezwecke eine Düse mit einem etwa zylindrischen Düsenkanal eingesetzt. Zur Erzeugung eines im Kern relativ harten, kompakten Wasserstrahls, der jedoch zum Strahlrand hin in der Strahlhärte abgeflacht ist und eine kegelförmige Auffächerung im Randbereich aufweist, wird vorgeschlagen, im stromabwärts gelegenen Endbereich des Düsenkanals segmentartige, mit Abstand zueinander radial in den Kanal vorspringende Prallstege vorzusehen.
