Abstract (en)
[origin: US4473017A] An apparatus for use with a sewing machine to automatically hem the free ends of tubular portions of garments. The apparatus has a guide cylinder with a stop and a tension cylinder capable of being retracted, both of which are mounted on the sewing machine with a folding guide which is moveable between a retracted position and an operative position. A tube connected to a source of compressed air assists in removing the sewn garment from the apparatus.

Un cylindre de guidage (10) avant une butée (26) et un cylindre de tension (12) pouvant être escamote sont montés sur une machine à coudre avec un guide replieur (16) qui est mobile entre une position d'effacement et une position d'activité, ainsi qu'une tubulure (33) raccordée à une source d'air comprimé d'éjection.
