1. A laying cart for laying paving elements, comprising a frame (7) movable on wheels (25) and pivotable about a horizontal axis (24), a forwardly projecting beam (2) connected to the frame (7) so as to be pivotable about a horizontal swivel axis (8), a gripper (3) carried by the beam (2), an accumulator adapted to be acted upon by downward movement of the loaded gripper (3) and having a spring (22), and a hydraulic brake system serving to control the beam swivel motions and including two cylinder chambers that may be alternately filled with pressurized fluid and emptied of pressurized fluid respectively, and including a throttle valve (19) that is interconnected between the two cylinder chambers, characterized in that the beam (2) has provided thereon a curved guide (21) as a support for at least one tension spring (22) of the accumulator, said guide rotating together with the beam, and the tension spring (22) having one end (23) anchored to the beam (2) and the other end (26) anchored to the frame (7) ; that two piston and cylinder assemblies (11, 12; 13, 14) are provided each having one end pivoted to the frame (7) and the other end pivoted to the beam (2) on opposite sides of the beam swivel axis (8) ; and in that the cylinder chamber of the one piston and cylinder assembly (11, 12) which is emptied during downward swivelling motion of the beam (2) is connected to the cylinder chamber of the other piston and cylinder assembly (13, 14) which is filled during the downward swivelling motion of the beam (2), with the throttle valve (19) being connected therebetween.

Verlegekarre für Belagelemente, mit einem auf Rädern (25) verfahrbaren, um eine waagerechte Achse (24) schwenkbaren Gestell (7), einem nach vorne auskragenden Ausleger (2), der um eine waagerechte Schwenkachse (8) schwenkbar mit dem Gestell (7) verbunden ist, einem von dem Ausleger (2) getragenen Greifer (3), einem durch Abwärtsbewegung des belasteten Greifers (3) beaufschlagbaren Kraftspeicher (22), und einem der Steuerung der Auslegerschwenkbewegungen dienenden System, das als hydraulisches System oder als Bremssystem ausgebildet ist. Zur Bildung des hydraulischen Systems sind zwei, jeweils mit einem Ende am Gestell (7) angelenkte Kolben-Zylinder-Anordnungen (11, 12; 13, 14) vorgesehen, die jeweils mit dem anderen Ende an entgegengesetzten Seiten von der Auslegerschwenkachse (8) am Ausleger (2) angelenkt sind, wobei die Zylinderkammer der einen Kolben-Zylinder-Anordnung (11, 12), die bei einer Abwärtsschwenkbewegung des Auslegers (2) entleert wird, mit der Zylinderkammer der anderen Kolben-Zylinder-Anordnung (13, 14), die bei der Abwärtsschwenkbewegung des Auslegers (2) gefüllt wird, unter Zwischenschaltung eines Drosselventils (19) verbunden ist. Zur Bildung des mechanischen Bremssystems ist mit dem Ausleger (2) koaxial zur Auslegerschwenkachse (8) eine Bremsscheibe oder eine Bremstrommel verbunden und ist mindestens ein drehfest am Gestell (7) gehaltenes Bremselement mit der Bremsscheibe oder der Bremstrommel in Reibeingriff bringbar.
