Abstract (en)
1. A contact member having at least two contact layers which are electrodeposited one above another on a carrier material which is preferably ferro-magnetic, the outer layer of said contact member consisting of rhodium and the underlying second layer of a precious metal, characterised in that the rhodium layer has a thickness of between 0.2 mu m and 2 mu m and the underlying layer of precious metal consists of silver.

Das Kontaktelement besitzt eine Kontaktschicht aus Silber in einer Dicke von vorzugsweise 2 bis 10 µm, welche mit einer Schutzschicht aus Rhodium in einer Dicke von 0,2 bis 2 µm überzogen ist. Beide Schichten werden galvanisch aufgebracht, wobei die Rhodiumschutzschicht vorzugsweise in Spritzgalvaniktechnik erzeugt wird. Diese hauchrhodinierten Silberschichten besitzen einen konstant geringen Kontaktwiderstand bei gleichzeitig sehr geringer Klebeneigung.
