A piece of furniture having a pivotable door comprising on the inside an electrical consumption circuit (U) fed from a supply block (20) fixed to this piece of furniture, electrical connection wires connecting the supply block and the consumption circuit (U) via an electrical connector made of two pivotably mounted elements one on the other according to the axis of the pivots, one of these elements being fixed to the door, characterized in that the supply block (20) is fixed to the center of a frontal bandeau of the piece of furniture in order to allow a reversible mounting of the door (P or P0 or P1 ) and of its pivots, that means at the right side or at the left side, without the necessity of disconnecting the connection wires between the supply block (20) and the consumption circuit (21).
