[origin: EP0089043A2] A simple, compact and operationally reliable device is proposed with which a fluid, for example liquid paint, can be sprayed onto an object to be processed, the conveying speed of the fluid fed to the centre of the spraying bell being decelerated to virtually zero on entry into the bell, the speed then being increased by accelerating the fluid through the bell to 15,000 to 60,000 RPM and subsequently spinning it off from the spraying edge of the bell and supplying it to the object to be coated. <IMAGE>
