1. A cutting tool for a cutter chain or a cutter belt, consisting of a main body (6) having cutter bits (7) fastened to it, which are formed respectively from a cutter body (10) having a fixing lug, characterized in that the main body (6) at the side next the workface (4) is provided with a opening (8), that the cutter body (10) of the cutter bit (7) projects through the opening (8), and that the fixing lug (9) of the cutter bit (7) rests at one side against the rear of the opening (8) to form a positive fit and at the other side against part of one link of the chain, a section of the belt or a shaped piece (14) which nearly fills a cavity in the main body (6) and is a detachable or fixed component of the cutter chain or cutter belt (1).

Ein Schneidwerkzeug (3) für eine Schrämkette oder einen Schrämriemen (1) besteht aus einem Grundkörper (6) mit daran befestigten Schneidplaketten (10), die aus einem Schneidkörper (10) mit einem Befestigungsansatz (9) gebildet sind. Die Schneidplaketten (10) werden von der Innenseite des Grundkörpers (6) her durch eine Öffnung (8) hindurchgesteckt und liegen mit ihrem Befestigungsansatz (9) an der Rückseite der entsprechenden Grundkörperseite formschlüssig an. Der Grundkörper wird halb formschlüssig, halb mit Hilfe eines Steckverschlusses an der Schrämkette bzw. an dem Schrämriemen (1) gesichert, so daß das Lösen des Grundkörpers auch nach längeren Stillstandszeiten durch Herausschlagen eines Verschlußbolzens (16) gelingt. Diese Lösung führt zu einem besonders geringen Aufstellmoment des Grundkörpers infolge eines geringen Abstandes zwischen dem Schneid-Angriffspunkt und der Ketten- bzw. Riemenzugkraft.
