[origin: WO8301235A1] The device comprises two parallel groups of floats (1, 2). Each group comprises a horizontal float (3, 4) to which vertical floats (5-14) are attached through one of their ends, the other ends being attached to longitudinal beams (17, 18). The end of one group is linked to the end of the other group by means of two horizontal transversal floats (15, 16) and a box-girder (19). The longitudinal beams carry movable supporting beams (20-23) which can be placed under the load to be hoisted and transported. The supporting beams (20-23) are provided at their ends with forks which can cooperate with supports attached to the load. The ends of the support columns of the barge have a shape and a relative position identical to those of the columns of the main structure. The method comprises, amongst other operations, hoisting the load by means of the support legs thereof.

Le dispositif est constitué de deux groupes (1, 2) parallèles de flotteurs. Chaque groupe comprend un flotteur horizontal (3, 4) sur lequel sont fixés par une de leurs extrémités des flotteurs verticaux (5-14), les autres extrémités étant fixées à des poutres longitudinales (17, 18). L'extrémité d'un groupe est reliée à l'extrémité de l'autre groupe par deux flotteurs horizontaux transversaux (15, 16) et une poutre caisson (19). Les poutres longitudinales portent des poutres mobiles de soutien (20-23) qui sont susceptibles de se placer sous la charge à lever et à transporter. Les poutres de soutien (20-23) portent à leur extrémité des fourches susceptibles de coopérer avec des supports fixés à la charge. Les extrémités des colonnes supports de la barge ont une forme et une position relative identiques à celles des colonnes de la structure marine. Le procédé consiste, entre autres opérations, à soulever la charge par ses jambes supports.
