[origin: EP0090083A2] The connections for over-pressure appliances to breathing masks are subject to a regulation that they must be exchangeable for alternating units. The advantages of the known and proven plug-in connections are to be retained. For this purpose, the connections, which in combination with the appliance parts form a screw connection to the breathing mask, are further separable or connectable in themselves by means of a coupling. This takes the form of a plug-in connector in each case which is retained in a locked and unlockable manner in a screw connection which then possesses the appropriate threaded connection to the breathing mask. <IMAGE>
