Die hydraulische Axialkolbenmaschine ist mit einer neuartigen Abstützung oder Lagerung von Schwenkkörper 12 und Schrägscheibe 10 versehen. Diese Teile sind senkrecht zu der Achse M-M der Zapfen zur Lagerung des Schwenkkörpers verschiebbar und über eine gekrümmte Fläche 29 abgestützt. Die gekrümmte Fläche rollt auf einer Laufplatte 16 ab, die wiederum durch ein Linearrollenlager 18, 19 an dem mit dem Zapfenring 42 verbundenen Steuerboden 22 abstützt. Durch diese Konstruktion ist es möglich, zur Abstützung der Schrägscheibe und des Schwenkkörpers Wälzlager einzusetzen, bei denen es sich um ein einfaches Maschinenelement handelt. Die Abstützung erfolgt darüber hinaus dort, wo die resultierende Kraft der Axialkolben auftritt.
