[origin: EP0090291A2] In the first step, the textiles are washed in a liquor which contains not more than 0.3 g of phosphorus per litre as phosphate. The washing liquor is obtained by dissolving a low-phosphate or phosphate- free detergent in water. In the second step, the textiles are treated with an acid-formulated liquid agent. This dissolves any incrustations formed in the first step and applies a softening finish to the textiles.
