Abstract (en)
The protective helmet essentially consists of an upper part (1) which, is thermoformed in a synthetic material and comprises depressions, such as alveoli (2), or ribs (60), only those ends of which opposite, those which are integral with the upper part, coming into contact with the user's skull, the said alveoli thus constituting shock absorbers and together determining channels for the circulation of air to cool the head. Casque protecteur notamment pour cycliste ou cyclomotoriste. Il est essentiellement constitué par une calotte (1) thermoformée en matière synthétique comportant des dépressions telles que des alvéoles (2) ou des nervures (60) dont seules les extrémités opposées à celles qui sont solidaires de la calotte rentrent en contact avec le crâne de l'utilisateur, lesdites alvéoles constituent ainsi des absorbeurs d'énergie et déterminent entre elles des voies de circulation d'air pour le refroidissement de la tête. Application à la protection des cyclistes ou des cyclomotoristes.
