Abstract (en)
[origin: US4409433A] The binding is disposed substantially symmetrically about a plane of symmetry which passes through the insulator and which is orthogonal to said conductor (10). It comprises a first ring (8) for occupying a portion of the circumferential groove, a second ring (9) for occupying the top groove, two conductor-retaining branches (5), and tightening means (2, 11) for tightening the binding. Each of said branches comprises a first end portion (7) in the form of a preformed spiral retainer for wrapping around said conductor, an intermediate portion for threading through said second ring when lodged in the top groove and through said first ring when lodged in the circumferential groove, and then extending in an arc of the same diameter as the circumferential groove to a second end portion which provides an eye (6) for engaging the tightening means.

La ligature comporte deux branches (5) sensiblement symétriques par rapport à un plan de symétrie de l'isolateur orthogonal audit câble (10), chaque branche (5) présentant sa première extrémité (7) sous la forme d'une attache spiralée pour ledit câble. La seconde extrémité de chaque branche a sensiblement la forme d'une boucle (6) et est maintenue dans la gorge latérale de l'isolateur par un moyen de serrage, la première extrémité (7) de la branche (5) destinée à être spiralée sur le câble (10) passant au travers d'un premier anneau (8) logé dans la gorge latérale de l'isolateur puis dans un second anneau (9) logé dans la gorge supérieure.
