1. Fitting for a parellel-positionable leaf (1) of a window or of a door with at least two upper (2, 3) and two lower stays (4, 5), at least one of the lower stays (4, 5), in particular that (4) which is associated with the closing side of the leaf, being provided with a locking device (16) which is operative when the stay (4) is swung out, and wherein at least the lower stay (4) which is in the front in the closure direction (28) is articulated on a carriage (15) or slider of the leaf, characterised in that a spring loaded ratchet member (18) is displaceably mounted at least on the carriage (15) which is connected to the front lower stay (4), the or each spring loaded ratchet member (18) being constructed as a bolt adapted for longitudinal displacement in the direction of movement of the leaf (1) and in that there is disposed in the associated stay (4) a ratchet housing in the form of a notch, slot or the like to accommodate the ratchet member (18).

Ein an wenigstens einem, vorzugsweise aber mehreren insbesondere vier Ausstellarmen (2, 3, 4, 5) gehaltener Flügel (1) läßt sich in seiner geöffneten, beispielsweise bei vier Ausstellarmen (2, 3, 4, 5) in seiner parallelabgestellten Lage, mit dem Beschlag sicher halten, so daß ihn Winddruck oder eine andere Kraft nicht in die Schließ- bzw. eine Kippstellung zurückdrücken können. Man erreicht dies dadurch, daß in der Ausstelllage an dem bzw. an wenigstens einem der nicht anderweitig sicherbaren Ausstellarme (4, 5) eine unmittelbar wirksame Sperrvorrichtung angebracht ist. Sie besteht aus einer Rastaufnahme und einem federbelasteten Rastglied. Das Ein- und Ausrasten erfolgt automatisch durch eine minimale Verschiebebewegung des Flügels (1) gegenüber seinem Blendrahmen (6) od. dgl. Zu diesem Zweck wirkt ein Auflaufelement (31) am Blendrahmen (6) mit einem Auslöser am Flügel (1) bzw. an dessen Laufwagen (5) sowie mit einer Pelastungsfeder zusammen.
