[origin: WO8301498A1] Method in burning solid fuels of different types in a furnace (10). The fuels is supplied to the upper end of an inclined grate (11) and is burnt thereon while primary air, possibly mixed with flue gas, is blown from below through the grate and the fuel bed (36) thereon to provide a zone of suspended fine fuel particles above the fuel bed. Unburnt material entrained into the escaping flue gas is separated from the flue gas and returned to the furnace for final combustion. Air and/or flue gas is blown into the upper portion of the grate transversely of the grate at a high pressure to provide an air or flue gas curtain at the location (12) of supplying the fuel while blowing-up existing fine fractions of the fuel from the fuel bed. At the same time the returned material together with air and/or flue gas is blown into the fuel bed in the lower portion of the grate for blowing-up remaining fine fractions of the fuel bed while blasting and stirring the fuel bed and simultaneously lowering the temperature of the hottest combustion zone located on the lower portion of the grate.

Procédé de brûlage de combustibles solides de différents types dans un four (10). Le combustible arrive sur l'extrémité supérieure d'une grille inclinée (11) et est brûlé sur cette grille tandis que de l'air primaire, éventuellement mélangé avec des gaz de fumée, est insufflé par dessous et au travers de la grille et du lit combustible (36) se trouvant sur la grille pour former une zone de particules combustibles fines en suspension au-dessus du lit combustible. Un matériau non brûlé entraîné dans les gaz de fumée s'échappant est séparé des gaz de fumée et revient au four pour en assurer une combustion définitive. De l'air et/ou des gaz de fumée sont insufflés dans la partie supérieure de la grille transversalement à celle-ci à une pression élevée pour former un rideau d'air ou de gaz de fumée au point (12) d'alimentation en combustible tout en faisant monter par soufflage les fractions fines existantes de combustible depuis le lit de combustible. En même temps le matériau qui retourne avec l'air et/ou les gaz de fumée est soufflé dans le lit de combustible dans la partie inférieure de la grille pour faire monter les fractions fines restantes du lit de combustible tout en soufflant et remuant le lit de combustible et abaissant simultanément la température de la zone de combustion la plus chaude située sur la partie inférieure de la grille de foyer.
