1. Feeding conduit for fountain pen with capillary ink chambers (6, 7.1 and 7.2) located inside the front part of the pen housing on both sides of the feeding conduit core (10) for storage of the excess ink and with an air vent connecting the outside air with the ink chambers, characterized in that the air vent is formed by a longitudinal slot (11) which is integrated into the lower side of the feeding conduit core (10) and which is neither connected to the ink chambers (6, 7.1, 7.2) at the front nor at the sides, in that the front part of the pen housing itself or a sleeve (2) set into the front section has a longitudinal rib (12) projecting towards the inside which fits lengthwise into the longitudinal slot (11) and is laterally affixed, thereby closing the air vent (11) ink-tight along its side wall, and in that the lower half of the feeding conduit containing the air vent (longitudinal slot 11) is set off as opposed to the upper half of the feeding conduit to the middle plane (Y) of the feeding conduit (1) and it is shortened in the rear to such an extent that an open, practically capillarity-free space (14) is formed behind the end of the air vent (11) which is open at the rear, in which the ink finds no capillary attraction.

Im Innern des Halterschaftvorderteiles eines Füllfederhalters angeordnete Tintenkammern müssen naturgemäß über einen Belüftungskanal mit der Außenluft verbunden sein. Zwecks Vermeidung der Überflutung des Belüftungskanals von der Seite her ist der Belüftungskanal (11) an den Seiten geschlossen. Der Belüftungskanal (11) ist durch eine in den schmalen Kern (10) des Tintenleiters (1) eingearbeitete Längsnut (11) gebildet und durch eine in sie eingreifende, in der Hülse (2) nach innen vorstehenden Längsrippe (12) tintendicht verschlossen. Hinten mündet der Belüftungskanal (11) in eine relativ weite Kammer (14), in der die Tinte keinen kapillaren Halt findet.
