Abstract (en)
A TV receiver with lamps mounted on at least one of its free surfaces is suspended from a ceiling by a telescopic shaft, with adjustment of the height, orientation and inclination by remote control of small motors concealed in the ceiling rose and cabinet. The lamps are switched independently so as to afford the most comfortable lighting when the receiver is on, and adjustable lighting when it is switched off. The cabinet may have any geometrical shape to suit the surroundings and may incorporate two or three receivers facing in different directions. The invention is applicable to bedrooms, lounges, conference healls, bars, hospital wards etc. where different transmissions may be viewed, with the use of headphones to eliminate confusion of sounds.

La télévision-lustre que l'on a intention de mettre sous tutelle, constitue une innovation dans le rangement des télévision, lequel, à l'état actuel de la technique, est d'habitude autonome sur des pieds ou avec appui à des meubles spéciaux. L'invention consiste dans la réalisation d'une télévision suspendue, accrochée au plafond par une tige télescopique. Elle peut être réalisée dans n'importe quelle forme (cubique, sphérique, ovale etc.) équipée d'un petit moteur qui permet le réglage soit en hauteur soit en orientation, avec l'application de lampes, normales ou spéciales, qui obtiennent un éclairage optimal pour la pièce. Elle est particulièrement indiquée pour les chambres à coucher, livings, salles établissements, bars, hospices, etc.
