1. Door-locking device for electrical appliances, especially for washing machines, - with a lock plate (1) which - is mounted so as to be longitudinally displaceable in a frame, - can be controlled by a door-closing hook which is connected to the door to be locked and which passes through a closing orifice (5) located at one end (4) of the lock plate, and - blocks the opening of the door-closing hook when the appliance is switched on, - and with a locking unit (6) - the housing of which can be connected to the lock plate frame and - which has a sliding bolt (8) which, in the lock plate blocking position, can be inserted into a lock plate recess (7) so as to block any movement, - and the insertion movement of which is controlled by the switch-on current of the electrical appliance, characterized by the following features : 1.1 the lock plate frame is designed, outside the range of displacement of the closing orifice (5), as a lock plate housing (2) open on one side only, 1.2 the locking unit (6) can be inserted into the housing in the manner of a drawer and can be locked in the inserted position, 1.3 the lock plate (1) is located between a lock plate housing wall (19) and a wall bottom plate 13) of the locking unit (6), being especially guided up against these walls, and 1.4 the supply terminals of the locking unit (6), which are preferably designed as flat plugs (20-22), are guided out of its outer wall (10) which, in the inserted position, closes the open side of the lock plate housing (2).

Die Schloßplatte (1) einer Türverriegelungsvorrichtung ist in einem Schloßplattengehäuse (2) längsverschiebbar geführt. Das Gehäuse (2) weist nur eine Offenseite auf, in die schubladenartig ein mit dem bimetallgesteuerten Riegelschieber (8) versehenes Verriegelungsgerät (6) einsetzbar ist. Das Verriegelungsgerät (6) ist in Einschubendstellung mit dem Gehäuse (2) verrastbar. Der Riegelschieber des Verriegelungsgerätes (6) greift bei angelegter Spannung sperrend in eine der Aussparungen (7) der Schloßplatte (1) ein.
