1. A fluorescent lamp for stimulating a balanced plant growth in which the phosphor blend applied to the inner wall of the lamp envelope comprises three components, the first component used being a manganese activated magnesium fluorogermanate with an emission maximum at 660 nm and the second component used being a tin-activated strontium magnesium orthophosphate with an emission maximum at 626 nm, characterized in that the third component is a barium magnesium aluminate activated with divalent europium and having an emission maximum at 447 nm.

Die Leuchtstofflampe zur Anregung eines ausgeglichenen Pflanzenwachstums ist mit einer aus drei Komponenten bestehenden Leuchtstoffmischung beschichtet. Als Komponenten werden hierbei ein rot emittierendes, mit Mangan aktiviertes Magnesium-Fluorogermanat, ein rot-orange emittierendes, mit Zinn aktiviertes Strontium-Magnesium-Orthophosphat und ein blau emittierendes, mit zweiwertigem Europium aktiviertes Barium-Magnesium-Aluminat verwendet. Die Anteile der einzelnen Komponenten an der Gesamtmenge der Leuchtstoffmischung betragen 10 bis 25 Gew.-%, insbesondere 20 Gew.-% für das Magnesium-Fluorogermanat, 55 bis 80 Gew.-%, insbesondere 65 Gew.-% für das Strontium-Magnesium-Orthophosphat und 10 bis 20 Gew.-%, insbesondere 15 Gew.-% für das Barium-Magnesium-Aluminat. Die neuartige Leuchtstoffmischung bietet bei verbesserten pflanzenphysiologischen Eigenschaften eine wesentliche Kostenreduzierung sowie eine verbesserte Farbwiedergabe, so daß entsprechende Leuchtstofflampen auch als Raumbeleuchtung in Gewächshäusern oder deren Verkaufsräumen eingesetzt werden können.
