Abstract (en)
An apparatus for slag-free metallurgical treatment of molten metals before casting consists of a furnace ladle which is closed at the top and whose bottom (3) has at least one prolongation (1) extending vertically downwards, the vertical ladle wall being surrounded by an inductive heating and stirring coil (50). At the bottom of the furnace ladle (3), a sealing ring (30) is seated which fits the upper rim of a transport ladle (0). The apparatus includes means for creating an elevated pressure (31) in the transport ladle (0), a reduced pressure (41) in the furnace ladle and a lock (42) for introducing solids into the latter. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Einrichtung zum schlackenfreien metallurgischen Behandeln von flüssigen Metallen vor dem Giessen besteht aus einer oben geschlossenen Ofenpfanne, deren Boden (3) zumindest eine sich senkrecht nach unten erstreckende Verlängerung (1) aufweist, wobei die vertikale Pfannenwand von einer Induktionsheiz- und Rührspule (50) umschlossen ist. Am Boden der Ofenpfanne (3) sitzt ein Dichtungsring (30), der auf den oberen Rand einer Transportpfanne (0) passt. Die Einrichtung verfügt über Mittel zum Schaffen eines Überdrucks (31) in der Transportpfanne (0), eines Unterdrucks (41) in der Ofenpfanne, sowie eine Schleuse (42) zum Einführen von Feststoffen in die letztere.
