[origin: EP0092510A1] 1. A watch case, more particularly for a wristwatch, comprising a rollshutter (3) formed by assembled elements (16), the shutter being capable to slide in grooves (14) of the internal faces of supporting plates (8, 9) forming the lateral faces of the case for covering and protecting the glass (6), and abutment means (22, 23) formed by the same elements than those of the shutter (3) for limiting the displacement of the latter, characterized in that the grooves (14) are made according to a closed loop-shaped tracing appreciably parallel to the periphery of the supporting plates (8, 9), in that the abutment means (22, 23) are fastened in the same grooves (14) and in that there is provided a protecting plate (15) secured to the supporting plates (8, 9) under the bottom (7) of the case, the curtain (3) sliding between the bottom (7) and the protecting plate (15).
