1. A contact mat (1) for actuating alarm and/or control systems, a pressure-wave hose which receives fluid being embedded in the mat and being connectable to a pressure-wave contact so associated with such system as to actuate the same by means of the pressure waves produced in response to a loading of the mat, characterised in that the pressure-wave hose comprises two substantially parallel pressure-wave hose portions (2, 3) à which converge in a part-circular member (8) substantially at the mat centre and which extend, in a number of turns distributed in uniform spiral fashion over the mat surface, to the outer circumference thereof where their open ends are connectable to the pressure-wave contact, the part-circular member (8) being a moulding the portions (2, 3) each being pushed by may of one of their ends on to the two open ends of the part-circular member (8).

In eine Kontaktmatte (1) zur Betätigung einer Überwachungseinrichtung ist ein Druckwellenschlauch eingebettet, der ein Fluid aufnimmt, und aus zwei etwa gleich langen parallelen Schlauchabschnitten (2, 3) besteht. Die beiden Schlauchabschnitte sind in der Mitte der Matte in einem Bogen (8, 9) zusammengeführt, in einer Vielzahl von Windungen zum Mattenumfang geführt und dort mit ihren offenen Enden an einen Druckwellenkontakt anschließbar, der die Überwachungseinrichtung beeinflußt.
