Rectangular multipack for carrying, stacking and palletizing, in whose center a canister provided with a carrying grip is disposed and which possesees a cardboard covering (1) which is constructed as a closed, folded ring out of a strip-like cardboard blank connected at its ends, is open at the sides and is closed by an annular hoop-casing strap spanning the open side walls of the annular covering and which in its cover wall (7), is provided with an opening (3), so that the multipack can be picked up from the outside by the grip provided on the center canister and be thus carried, characterized in that the opening (3) extends from the cover wall (7) across the edge as far as into the side wall (8) of the cardboard covering, in that it has the width of the center canister so that the multipack can be carried from the outside by the canister grip, and in that, likewise through the opening, the center canister can be pulled out first for removal without damage being caused to the multipack and, followings this, the remaining containers can be removed laterally or through the selfsame opening, the non-damaging removal additionally allows the empty containers to be returned into the rectangular multipack for re-use.
