[origin: EP0093685A1] 1. Method of bending steel beams in order to obtain a camber, wherein a bending force and a reaction force, acting in a direction which is parallel to the web and transverse to the flanges are implemented, characterized in that by using fixed bearings located on both sides of mobile press heads moving transversally to the beam, the force and the reaction force are only applied to the flange which defines the outer radius of the beam and that the web is kept bare of any gripping force (Fig. 2).
