1. A piston compressor having a suction valve disposed between the cylinder (1) and the cylinder head (4) and a device for lifting the closure member (8) of the suction valve from the valve seating (5) in order to regulate the quantity delivered, the lifting device being provided with at least one lifting pin (14) which traverses a through duct (6) of the valve seating (5) and by which the closure member (8) is displaceable into the cylinder (1), characterized in that each lifting pin (14) provided is disposed within the periphery of the cylinder (1) without a catching stud opposite it, and the closure member (8), which is preferably formed as a flexible tongue or an annular plate, is displaceable by the lifting pin (14) into the area of movement of the piston (3) and at each stroke of the piston can be displaced back by the piston head (25) towards the valve seating (5).

Kolbenverdichter mit einem zwischen dem Zylinder (1) und dem Zylinderkopf (4) angeordneten Saugventil (6) und einer Einrichtung zum Abheben des Verschlußstückes (8) desselben vom Ventilsitz (5) zur Regelung der Lierfermenge. Die Abhebeeinrichtung wirkt mit wenigstens einem Abhebestift (14), der einen Durchgangskanal (6) des Sitzes (5) durchsetzt, auf das Verschlußstück (8). Um eine Vergrößerung des schädlichen Raumes durch die Abheberegelung zu vermeiden, sind die Abhebestifte (14) in Bereichen des Verschlußstückes (8) vorgesehen, die ohne ihnen zugeordneten Fängeranschlag frei in den Zylinder (1) verschiebbar sind.
