Abstract (en)
In a running gear for rail vehicles with three wheel sets, it is provided that the outer wheel sets are connected in each case to the vehicle frame via a guide element as transmission element. The centre wheel set is coupled to the vehicle frame via lateral guide elements. In this case, in each case the adjacent wheel sets are connected in the vehicle transverse direction via coupling elements. The guide elements permit large axle spacings by means of a radial forced positioning of the outer wheel sets without having to accept an increased level of wear when travelling around bends. <IMAGE>
