[origin: EP0094561A2] The device has a handle in the form of a handgrip, and a foot part thereon. The foot part has a substantially flat underside which is designed as the pressing surface for pressing in a drawing-pin, and/or at least one slot open towards the free edge of the foot part, and in the region of the slot an at least substantially flat upper side for pulling out a drawing-pin. The manual device makes it possible to press in drawing-pins or the like mechanically and without the risk of injury, and to pull out pressed-in drawing-pins. If the head of the drawing pin is broken off, the spike can also be pulled out. Manipulation of the device is simple and problem-free and it can be manufactured inexpensively. <IMAGE>
