[origin: EP0094850A2] Abrasive-blasting device for workpieces of whatever shape, comprising a swivelling blast gun (1) capable of spraying a jet of abrasives onto the workpiece, which blast gun is mounted on a movable platform (3). The platform (3) can be displaced vertically on a fixed frame (13), the blast gun (1) is mounted so as to slide axially through the wall (4) of the platform (3), and so as to rotate about its axis by means of a rotational joint (25), and it comprises an abrasives-spraying nozzle (5) articulated so as to be able to be inclined as far as the perpendicular to the axis of the blast gun (1), a turbine (76) being installed in front of the window (11). This arrangement gives the nozzle (5) all degrees of freedom in order to expose all of the workpiece to the jet of abrasives, whilst the turbine (76) protects the window (11) against rebounding abrasives. <IMAGE>
