In a doctor device for printing and dyeing webs of material, if appropriate by means of rotary stencils, screens or the like, a carrier (10) is drawn over the applicator device or through the stencil. A feed part 11 and a doctor part 12 are fastened under this carrier 10 releasably, preferably so that they can be pushed in and out and therefore exchanged. The feed part 11 and doctor part 12 constitute a unit and can be laid elastically against the application surface. The feed part 11 and doctor part 12 can be of varying design. The feed part 11 is preferably made tubular and is supplied with the application medium via feed tubes. It is closed at the end. The feed part 11 can be connected to a rolling doctor, spreading doctor or slotting doctor. Above or next to the preferably tubular feed part is an elastic element 15, for example a pressure pad and diaphragm, a spring arrangement or the like. This elastic element 15 allows the movement of the unit consisting of the feed part 11 and doctor part 12. This unit can be pressed actively against the application plane or be supported resiliently on the vertically adjustable carrier part 10. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Rakelvorrichtung zum Bedrucken und Färben von Warenbahnen, ggf. mittels Rotationsschablonen, Sieben od. dgl., wird ein Träger (10) über die Auftragsvorrichtung gezogen bzw. durch die Schablone hindurchgezogen. Unter diesem Träger 10 ist lösbar, vorzugsweise ein- und ausschiebbar und daher auswechselbar ein Zuführungsteil 11 und ein Rakelteil 12 befestigt. Der Zuführungsteil 11 und der Rakelteil 12 bilden eine Einheit und sind elastisch an die Auftragsfläche anstellbar. Die Gestaltung des Zuführungsteiles 11 und des Rakelteiles 12 kann vielseitig sein. Das Zuführungsteil 11 ist vorzugsweise rohrartig ausgebildet und wird mit dem Auftragsmedium über Zuführungsrohre versorgt. Es ist endseitig geschlossen. Das Zuführungsteil 11 kan mit einer Rollrakel, Streichrakel oder Schlitzrakel verbunden sein. Oberhalb oder neben dem vorzugsweise rohrartigen Zuführungsteil befindet sich ein elastisches Element 15, z.B. Druckpolster und Membran, eine Federanordnung od.dgl. Dieses elastische Element 15 ermöglicht die Bewegung der Einheit, bestehend aus Zuführungsteil 11 und Rakelteil 12. Diese Einheit kann aktiv gegen die Auftragsebene gedrückt werden oder sich federnd am höhenverstellbaren Trägerteil 10 abstützen.
