1. Low-foaming rinse aids for dishwashing machines based on a mixture of nonionic surfactants containing a proportion of highly ethoxylated alkyl phenols, characterized in that they contain as principal constituents a surfactant combination of A) an adduct of 10 to 50 and preferably 12 to 40 mol ethylene oxide with C6 -C12 alkyl phenols and B) an adduct of 5 to 50 and preferably 7 to 35 mol ethylene oxide with a reaction product of 1 mol aliphatic mono- or diamine and 30 to 150 and preferably 30 to 110 mol propylene oxide, the ratio by weight of A to B being from 1 : 3 to 1 : 12 and preferably from 1 : 4 to 1 : 9.
