[origin: ES8402656A1] A trigger mechanism for a shotgun with superposed barrels provides certainty in the firing of the second shot from the upper barrel after firing of the first shot from the lower barrel. The trigger mechanism includes a cam engaging the sear for the upper trigger and having an inverted L-shaped opening and a arcuate slot. The cam is biased by the hammer for the lower barrel into a position in which the pins prevent movement of the cam and release of the upper hammer sear. Upon release of the trigger following the firing of the first shot from the lower barrel, a spring biases the cam into a position in which it can be moved by a subsequent action of the trigger to actuate the upper sear to release the hammer for the upper barrel and fire the second shot. The cocking nose of each sear has a circular head co-acting with a complementary notch in the hammer to provide self-centering action in the cocked position.

- Ce dispositif comprend des percuteurs parallèles supérieur 52 et inférieur 39 et des gâchettes pivotantes, supérieure 42 et inférieure 50, une queue arrière du percuteur inférieur agissant sur un axe-pivot 41 fixé sur une came-barrette 40 qui est sollicitée par une détente et est axée en bout de la gâchette supérieure, cette came-barrette étant rappelée vers l'avant par un ressort et présentant une ouverture équerrée 40² traversée par un axe 43 solidaire de la platine. - Le problème à résoudre consiste à améliorer les performances et la sécurité. - Suivant l'invention, la came-barrette 40 présente, à sa base et suivant sa face arrière, une fente circulaire 40<4> qui est ouverte et concentrique audit axe-pivot et qui, en combinaison avec la branche horizontale de l'ouverture équerrée, coopère avec un deuxième axe 47 solidaire de la platine. - L'invention trouve une application avantageuse sur les fusils de chasse à canons superposés.
