[origin: EP0095577A2] 1. Process for measuring deviations from truly synchronised angular movements between the aiming line of an optical aiming device (3) and an aim-follower device (2), particularly a weapon, spaced apart from the optical aiming device and intended to be aimed at a target ; in which an optical test-mark (95) is projected to infinity through the optical aiming device (3) to produce an image of said test-mark ; there being interposed in the projection path a movable optical device (5) whose movements are coupled to the movements of the aim-follower device (2) intended to be aimed at the target ; the optical aiming device (3) and the aim-follower device (2) being swung through a sequence of elevation-angle changes during which the deviations from truly synchronous movement are measured, vertically and sideways, between the image of the optical test-mark (95) and a predetermined reference value characterised in that the optical test-mark (95) is produced behind the ocular lens (33) of the optical aiming device (3) and the image of the test-mark is received by the movable optical device in the form of a collimator measurement camera (5) which is adjustable in height and angle ; the pivot-axis (47) of the collimator measurement camera (5) being adjusted parallel to the pivot-axis (21) of the aim-follower device (2) ; and in that when the aiming device (3) and the aim-follower device (2) are swung through changes in elevation angle the collimator measurement camera (5) follows the movements of the aim-follower device (2) which is intended to be aimed at the target ; the measured values being fed to an electronic control and evaluation unit (11) which automatically measures the deviations of the image of the image of the test-mark (95) from the predetermined reference values in the collimator measurement camera (5).
