1. Control device for setting the adjusting elements of a printing machine, in particular the elements for adjusting the ink thickness profile and/or the wet layer thickness profile and/or the ductor stroke of an offset printing machine, with a computing device for analysing standardised digitally coded information, whereby the information is independent of the characteristics of the printing machine being controlled and is not directly suitable for setting purposes, from which information the computing device generates setting figures for the adjusting elements which may in particular be powered by servomotors, and with a device for outputting digitally coded information corresponding to the current actual position of the adjusting elements of the printing machine, characterised in that the control device is so designed and constructed that the digitally coded information corresponding to the current actual position of the adjusting elements of the printing machine to be set is provided at an output of the control device in the form of standardised, digitally coded information.

Zum Steuern der Verstellung von Stellgliedern einer Druckmaschine, mit denen das Farbschichtdickenprofil, Feuchtschichtdickenprofil und/oder Duktorhub veränderbar sind, ist eine Rechenvorrichtung vorgesehen. Diese Rechenvorrichtung rechnet die dem zonalen Farbbedarf des Druckes entsprechenden Einstellwerte in Einstellwerte für die an die Steuervorrichtung angeschlossene Druckmaschine um. Die entsprechenden Einstellwerte werden in digital verschlüsselter Form aus einem Datenspeicher an die Rechenvorrichtung weitergegeben und dort weiterverarbeitet.
