[origin: EP0096101A1] 1. A swing having at least two swing rods (4, 4') which have their upper ends connected to a horizontal suspension bar (3) for pivoting movement about a horizontal axis of rotation, and wherein there is provided between at least one of said swing rods and said suspension bar, a brake device (9) which becomes effective when a permissible angle of deflection of said swing rods is exceeded, characterized in that the upper ends of the swing rods (4, 4') are each mounted on a horizontal axle between a pair of approximately vertically extending girder plates (2, 2') rigidly joined to the suspension bar (3) ; that each horizontal axle (or shaft) comprises a threaded bolt (5) passing through said two girder plates (2, 2') and the corresponding end of said swing rods (4, 4'), the one end of said bolt being formed by a head (6) and the other end by threads (10) having threaded thereonto a nut (11) for clamping the girder plates (2, 2') ; that one end of each bolt (5) is fixed against rotation to one of said girder plates (2, 2') by means for transfer elements (14), respectively, and said nut (11) is fixed against rotation to the corresponding swing rod (4, 4') on the opposite end of the bolt (5) ; and that one friction-increasing brake disk (9) is disposed between the inner sides of the girder plates (2, 2') and the outer sides of the upper ends of the swing rods (4, 4').
