Abstract (en)
Low-grade fuel (8a) is extensively degassed in a retort (2) and burnt directly afterwards. The pyrolysis gas occurring in the retort (2) is conducted directly into a combustion chamber (11) and burnt above the degassed fuel (8). The incinerator (1) has a vertical filling shaft (2) which is closed, except for the filling opening (4) and a lower delivery opening (6), on all sides by filling shaft walls (3) and which has a grate (7) provided just under the delivery opening (6). The combustion chamber (11) surrounds all vertical filling shaft walls (3). Cross-section and height of the filling shaft (2) are dimensioned in such a manner that the fuel (8a) is extensively degassed in the filling shaft (2). The pyrolysis gas produced in this connection can only escape from the filling shaft (2) at the bottom directly into the combustion chamber above the debris cone (8) of the burning, degassed fuel and burns with air being supplied, a post-combustion of the flue gases being obtained. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Minderwertiges Brennmaterial (8a) wird in einer Retorte (2) weitgehend entgast und unmittelbar anschließend verbrannt. Das in der Retorte (2) entstehende Pyrolysegas wird unmittelbar in eine Brennkammer (11) geleitet und oberhalb des entgasten Brennmaterials (8) verbrannt. Der Verbrennungsofen (1) weist einen lotrechten bis auf die Füllöffnung (4) und eine untere Austragsöffnung (6) allseitig durch Füllschachtwände (3) geschlossenen Füllschacht (2) mit einem dicht unter der Austragsöffnung (6) vorgesehenen Rost (7) auf. Die Brennkammer (11) umgibt sämtliche lotrechte Füllschachtwände (3). Querschnitt und Höhe des Füllschachtes (2) sind so bemessen, daß das Brennmaterial (8a) im Füllschacht (2) weitgehend entgast wird. Das hierbei erzuegte Pyrolysegas kann nur unten aus dem Füllschacht (2) unmittelbar in die Brennkammer oberhalb des Schüttkegels (8) des brennenden, entgasten Brennmaterials entweichen und verbrennt unter Luftzufuhr, wobei eine Nachverbrennung der Rauchgase erzielt wird.
